This just happened and it was GLORIOUS 🙌🏻 Nacho cheese sauce meets fondue meets sourdough. My toddler and I unapologetically ate it straight from the saucepan standing in the kitchen. Ooey gooey salty sharp. Hot damn it ticked all the boxes.
NACHO CHEESE SAUCE FONDUE
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups grated cheddar cheese1 clove garlic minced2 tsp cornflour/cornstarch1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp chilli powder (I used ground chipotle)1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
Whisk cornflour into cold cream. Heat cream in a small saucepan till just bubbling, add rest of the ingredients, stir over medium heat till thick. Serve hot with big chunks of sourdough bread.x
