Grammed: Mulled Wine

 

 

 




❄️ Winter is an excellent excuse to make MULLED WINE 🍷

MULLED WINE

1 bottle red wine 

1 orange, sliced 

5 whole cloves 

1 stick cinnamon 

1 star anise 

1/2-3/4 cup brown sugar 

1/2 cup port/brandy 

Put everything except port in a saucepan on low simmer for 30 mins - 1 hour. 

Add port just before serving. Serve hot. 

I like making it earlier and letting it steep for a couple of hours and reheating to serve.
